The convening of the conference is in line with the pivotal roles played by the National Human Rights Committee to ensure the integration of human rights in all measures related to emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence, as this vision is consistent with the rapid growth and expansion of modern technology, and takes into account Qatar’s orientation and efforts towards building a global space for innovation and promoting a vibrant technological environment, thus establishing Doha as one of the most important global centers in the field of technology and innovation.
The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights in Doha concluded by calling on the international community to respect human values and work on the outcomes and recommendations of the Doha Declaration on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights, which contributes to raising awareness of the implications of intelligence. It calls on the AI industry to uphold human rights standards and foster cooperation between different stakeholders to ensure the development of ethical AI.
