Ehsan Arjemandi born 30 June 1974 Norwegian national.

I was working as human rights activist. I went to Pakistan on 30 July 2009 to investigate the number of missing Baloch on Pakistani occupied Balochistan , when I reached Balochistan on 31 July Pakistan had imposed movement restrictions in Balochistan, because of that I couldn’t do my job. Late evening 6 August i boarded a bus in Mand to Karachi, on early morning 7 August at zero point between Balochistan and Sindh i was pulled down by Pakistani security forces, which later I discovered were ISI personell.

I was tortured above 5 months : I was beaten , hanged upsidedown at same time they put my head in a bucket of water, i was denied rest , sleep, water, they pulled out my toe nails, they putted chilli powder in my exit, as well petrol. I was kept isolated all the time.

They held me for 12 years. I was never charged with anything. I was never presented to any court. On 24/25 August 2021 they released me , they forced me to sign a document where it was written that I will never talk about what I have been through.

If I did so my or my grantor will be punished. After I was released I couldn’t leave Pakistan because i had over stayed my visa, which I had nothing to do Norwegian Eambasy had to pay 852800 PRK So much could get the exit permit.

Today there are many thousand Baloch people who are victims of enforced disappearances by Pakistani Forces in Balochistan including Women and Children.
