The Balsam Organization contacted the Health Affairs in Nairobi, and expressed its desire to carry out a voluntary project based on its vision, in the Heart Center of the National Hospital in Kenya.

Acceptance was confirmed by an invitation letter from the CEO of the Kenyatta National Hospital with the recommendation of the director of the hospital’s Heart center, in addition to entering into a partnership with Medtronic, the world leader in the field of catheters and cardiac surgery, through its office for the Middle East and its agent in Kenya.

After obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Health in Kenya, the Heart Center in Nairobi, with the support of Medtronic, directed invitations to all hospitals in Kenya to collect heart cases in preparation for the planned project.

A team consisting of expert consultants in interventional cardiac catheterization was formed from King Saud University in Riyadh and the Heart Center in Madinah with King Faisal Specialist Hospital and the Military Hospital in Riyadh.

An executive partnership has been approved with the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action for this voluntary project in the State of Kenya.
